Did you know that helping others always helps you? I am so proud to be speaking with two lovely young ladies: (Latasha C. Watts creator of thepurpleproject.com and Tanish Cunningham: founder of theundergroundrailroad2succes.com...both of these ladies have dedicated their lives to helping children in foster care and aging/aged out!
Please applaud them, this is hard work, at times you stand alone, especially when you are just creating your vision... they held fast and now two projects are born to help thousands...this is the goal to help each other excell and then go back and help others still in the system!
"Teach one reach one and teach another"
Service to others is important because you help, save or change lives. You remember when your mom left you in a group home or when they took away the only sibiling you knew...remember how you felt..the pain i still feel today when i think of my baby brother Mark, that i will never see him again unless he finds me because he was adopted off...hold that pain for when you create an idea to help...that pain will give you strength to execute your plan. Don't be sad unless you are doing nothing...then get to work...
helping others also lets your pain fade into the backdrop because you are focusing on someone other than yourself...
service is also imortant because the world is in trouble if we don't figure out how to help these 30,000 or so kids that are "aged out" each year in the US!!! It is our issue to solve: God and the universe did not bring you through all the abandonment, abuse, chaos for nothing, he has big plans for you, helping others!
Smile, be kind to a child today, they are watching you!!!

This is a place where you can come for advice or a kind word. If you are in a group home, Foster care or had no family due to any circumstance, There are many things you may not have learned. I hope to motivate change in your life! If you are looking for a sibiling that was adopted please leave me a post..maybe we can find our sibilings here..i am looking for baby brother Mark who was adopted to a family of doctors in Elmsford,NY in the 1970's he was born oct 6th 1970/71..reddish hair, freckles..would look like chris brown with age progression..post any thought u may have!!
