was on bed rest--but i am back!!
Father's day?
Do we really know what that is? Often we are in care because our fathers did NOT step up! It's ok because I found plenty of male role models...
I was lucky to have a good foster father for a little while but i guess I will pen a poem of why a father should be celebrated...
Father
More than letters that make up a word,
that means a man who secured an egg,
and helped mom make a baby....
Father,
you should be a man who dotes on his child
even pulling them back in when they are running wild..
Father,
should be playing sports in the grass, swimming in the lake, camping, hiking, biking, any activity that is father and child inviting...
father should,
tell me it is ok when my day has gone wrong,
when my friends are no more and my mate has gone on to another.
Father should be there when mom is not.
Father,
should not have let us go to a group home,
father should not have listened to mother and let us be raised at the hand of another,
Father? Father! Father. That is a tilte you must work for
and for those who did, happy fathers day, teach some young boy how to be a man and the next generation will only get better!
This is a place where you can come for advice or a kind word. If you are in a group home, Foster care or had no family due to any circumstance, There are many things you may not have learned. I hope to motivate change in your life! If you have no family to inspire you on bad days, you may find something here to show you how to get out of your bubble and "take back your life! * These words are my opinions only and based on my 16 years in foster care! If you are looking for a sibiling that was adopted please leave me a post..maybe we can find our sibilings here..i am looking for baby brother Mark who was adopted to a family of doctors in Elmsford,NY in the 1970's he was born oct 6th 1970/71..reddish hair, freckles..would look like chris brown with age progression..post any thought u may have!!
