African American Day parade today Sept 21, 2014

Hi blog family!

what a day!
It was an honor to march in Harlem today with not only my people but ALL people! Not only did Harlem represent' I saw many °others°!
Dr. King would be happy to see the amount of people that came out in love and respect for our heritage!

I am not a history teacher but I want ALL our young people AND all people to know, when you are going through struggles with or without parents...
when life gets hard
when mountains seem to high to climb
when you think you want to take your last breath... HOLD ON!
Know that our ancestors were killed, died and suffered so that WE could ALL have a better life!
While we still have cases of injustice, overall, life is what WE make it, even with racist haters in the back drop. The difference is that we have a VOICE now, we can speak up, we can march, we can, we can, we can!
Don't allow ANYONE, family, friend, foe, to tell you, you cant, because all of us alive today and living our fullest life, are proof YOU can We can!

In honor of our ancestors, seek help in getting to your gift, your goals. Don't let another day go by procrastinating, take action now!  Life is short but that does not matter, if I have five minutes or fifty years to live does not matter, what matters is the legacy I leave in those few or many moments! You are great, you are divine and its your time to shine AND help others along the way!! xo
